The application of stretch film in the food industry

Stretching film is a type of plastic film with adhesive properties on one or both sides that can be stretched and tightly wrapped around the wrapped item. Self adhesive does not adhere to the surface of the wrapped item, but only exists on the surface of the film. During the packaging process, there is no need for heat shrinkage treatment, which is beneficial for saving energy, reducing packaging costs, facilitating container transportation, and improving logistics efficiency. The characteristics of stretch film type polyester film: it is stable at room temperature, shrinks when heated (above the glass transition temperature), and experiences over 70% thermal shrinkage in one direction.

Because with the rapid development of PET beverage bottles, beverage bottles such as cola, Sprite, and various fruit juices require PET heat shrink film to be matched with heat sealing labels.
